The Portable Surveillance Unit is designed for the temporary deployment
of surveillance and video storage in locations without the need for permanent
wiring or infrastructure. The client only needs to provide an elevated
point on which to place or suspend the Unit with proximity to a constant
110VAC power source. This can be in the form of a pole, tower, rooftop,
or similarly elevated location. For a more temporary solution –
such as a natural or environmental disaster, the unit can be placed atop
of a stationary pickup or SUV or attached to an optional tow-receiver
vertical pole. Applications for this unit range from emergency response/critical
incidents, to site construction or fleet and equipment yards.
Power and Mounting:
The power source for this system will be provided by the client and requires
a constant 110VAC current. This can be as simple as placing the unit on
the roof of a mobile construction office and powering from within, or
the unit can be attached to the mast of a portable lighting system and
The system is equipped with up to four (4) full high-definition (2688X1520)
bullet cameras. Each camera is capable of 3x optical zoom. Vari-focal
lens allows up to a 93-degree horizontal viewing angle. Each of these
cameras is equipped with 30 LED IR illuminators with a range of up to
33 meters in total darkness. The bullet cameras are rated IP66 for dust
and moisture resistance, making them ideal for construction or other environments
where dirt and moisture may be a concern.
Optionally, the unit can be configured with a 2.1 MP high-definition (up
to 1920x1080) Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) dome camera is also included. This camera
allows up to 20x optical zoom and is equipped with ten high powered IR
LED that can illuminate and area of total darkness up to 495’. It
can configured to auto patrol multiple specific areas of concern - each
with its own level of zoom, be manually controlled by authorized personnel
through the monitoring software interface, or set to a static location,
such as an entrance gate for a detailed visual record of employee and
visitor traffic. The PTZ is also rated IP66 for dust and moisture resistance.
Several camera combinations are available for unit configuration subject
to the clients’ individual needs.
Supplemental lighting is also included and can be configured in the form
of visible illumination (detectable by the human eye) to actually light
the protected area or infrared (IR) for more covert monitor/recording,
if visible illumination of the area is not desired. Visible illumination
can be configured to automatically come on at night, and then turn off
during the day.
